Julio & Tania’s Story

Julio and Tania love their family. They have four daughters all under the age of five and three of them are currently in diapers.

In October 2021, Julio and Tania’s family became residents of a HomeAid housing project operated by our partners at Family Assistance Ministries (FAM). Since arriving, their family has taken action and accessed weekly case management support.

Not too long after, Tania and Julio’s family was matched for Rapid Rehousing. They signed up for FAM’s Samaritan program and received food and diapers every 2-3 weeks thanks to HomeAid’s annual Diaper Drive and the materials it provides to our agency partners, including FAM.

With three children in diapers, the family was able to save at least $200 a month because of the materials they’re receiving from HomeAid’s Diaper Drive. Julio and Tania shared that they are very grateful for these materials and the savings that it continues to provide them.

Today, both parents are gaining employment and saving money towards their housing goals.
