Any time of year, YOU can volunteer!

At the HomeAid Orange County Family CareCenter, you can positively impact families working to overcome homelessness. The Family CareCenter is HomeAid Orange County’s flagship shelter for families experiencing homelessness.

Interested? Contact Marketing & Engagement Coordinator, Emily Biehl at emily@homeaidoc.org for information on volunteer opportunities.

How much time can you contribute to ending homelessness?

A lot

Weekly, volunteers are able to serve the families residing at the Family CareCenter in one of two ways: donating and serving breakfast or dinner. We welcome a max of 7 volunteers for this opportunity.

A little

On a monthly basis, volunteer groups of 15 or more are welcome to participate in a Community CareDay at the Family CareCenter! This involves a deep clean, in addition to making sack lunches for the families.

No time? You can still get involved! Make CareKits with your office, school, or teammates! CareKits are small bags filled with items that support those without a place to call home.

HomeAid Orange County’s work is made possible thanks to the generosity of businesses, government entities and other groups that share our goal of ending homelessness.
