Volunteer
Any time of year, YOU can volunteer!
At the HomeAid Family CareCenter, you can positively impact families working to overcome homelessness. The Family CareCenter is HomeAid Orange County’s flagship shelter for families experiencing homelessness.
Interested? Email volunteer@homeaidoc.org for information on volunteer opportunities.

A lot
Weekly, volunteers are able to serve the families residing at the Family CareCenter in one of two ways: either donating and serving dinner, or solely serving dinner. We welcome a max of 7 volunteers for this opportunity.

A little
On a monthly basis, volunteer groups of 15 or more are welcome to participate in a Community CareDay at the Family CareCenter! This involves a deep clean, in addition to making sack lunches for the families.
*This opportunity now limited to 9 people or less in as a result of the ongoing pandemic.*

None
No time? You can still get involved! Make CareKits with your office, school, or teammates! CareKits are small bags filled with items such as sunscreen, socks, snacks, and small water bottles, that support those experiencing homelessness on Orange County’s streets.
Email Natasha Mayans, Marketing & Engagement Specialist, natasha@homeaidoc.org for details and to sign-up.
