Nicholas Lane workers represent many laborers involved with the Fullerton Interfaith New Vista Shelter
|
Construction is moving forward at HomeAid's shelter development, Fullerton Interfaith New Vista Shelter where the Brookfield Homes team, led by project manager, Brian Geis is committed to providing an aesthetically pleasing 1,900-square foot home that will ultimately house homeless families with now where to turn.
The new construction slated for completion later this year was designed by Lind & Associates Architecture and Lim Chang Rohling Associates, Inc.; and will include a large kitchen, a lounge, four bedrooms, a great room, a four-car garage and an enclosed porch.
The newest sub-contractor to join other Fullerton Interfaith trade contributors is Nicholas Lane Contractors, Inc. an Anaheim-based company specializing in residential framing. With current projects including Newport Coast and Crystal Cove, Nicholas Lane joins other trades and suppliers including Quality Structures; Plumbing Concepts; Aliso Air/Westpac Air Conditioning; SB Electric; Paragon Schmidt, and DRI Residential.
The homeless shelters developed by HomeAid Orange County, the Building Industry Association's charitable outreach, and its partners supply the brick and mortar component so that care providers like Fullerton Interfaith can administer programs for the homeless. Without the valuable contributions of the trades and suppliers, HomeAid would not be able to provide much needed transitional and supportive housing.
To date HomeAid Orange County has completed 37 shelter developments.
