David Prolo new HomeAid Orange County Board member.
Newport Beach, CA (February 5, 2007) -- HomeAid Orange County is pleased to announce the appointment of its newest board member, David Prolo, senior vice president with John Laing Homes.
As Senior Vice President, Mr. Prolo oversees operational activities related to forward planning, project management, land development, product design, purchasing, construction and customer care in the South Coast/Orange County Division, and is currently involved with one of HomeAid Orange County’s newest developments, Hope Family Housing-Buena Park where John Laing Homes is serving as the Builder Captain.
HomeAid Orange County, the founding chapter of HomeAid National was established by the leadership of the Orange County Chapter of the Building Industry Association of Southern California in 1989. Charged with the mission of building and renovating shelters for temporarily homeless Orange County individuals and families, HomeAid Orange County has successfully completed 40 shelter projects to date with three currently in various stages of planning and construction.
Those temporarily homeless served by HomeAid include women in crisis pregnancy; abused children; victims of domestic violence, homeless adults living with HIV/AIDS; the mentally challenged; homeless youths; and those families and individuals who find themselves homeless as a result of job loss or catastrophic illness.
Prolo is one of 24 HomeAid Orange County Board members providing leadership for the nonprofit serving as the charitable arm of the Building Industry Association. Prolo, his wife and their three children reside in San Clemente, California.
