ORANGE COUNTY ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS CONTINUES TO RAISE FUNDS FOR HOMEAID ORANGE COUNTY
IRVINE, CA (August 26, 2006)

Mel and Linda Lang CEO of the Orange County Association of REALTORS® enjoy a day at the beach. Proceeds benefit HomeAid Orange County.
The Orange County Association of REALTORS® (OCAR) adopted HomeAid Orange County in 2000 through the recommendation of past HomeAid board member, Cheryl Wyland, president of Burrow Escrow.

As a result of this initial referral, OCAR has been instrumental in providing support to HomeAid's mission to build shelters for transitionally homeless men, women and children. The contribution from Orange County Association of REALTORS® has directly benefited seven of the 40 shelter developments completed by HomeAid Orange County, the charitable arm of the Building Industry Association.

OCAR's HomeAid contributions are generated primarily from its annual events including their Golf Tournament in May; Bowling Tournament in October; and most recently a Beach Party held at Doheny State Beach where approximately 2,000 guests - made up primarily of OCAR members and associates - were in attendance.
