State Street Continues Its Support of HomeAid Orange County

HomeAid Orange County recently received a $5,000 donation from Michael Steele the newly selected 2005 State Street Manager of the Year. Steele was recognized for his active community initiatives' support and was selected from a large pool of nominees throughout the State Street global family.
As 2005 State Street Manager of the Year, Steele had the opportunity to contribute to the charity of his choice; he selected HomeAid Orange County, the Building Industry Association's charitable outreach that builds homeless shelters.
Steele became familiar with HomeAid when his company came on board as a HomeAid Orange County sponsor three years ago. In addition to the recent $5,000 personal contribution made by Michael Steele, State Street has to date donated $20,000 to HomeAid's shelter development program.
