Companies like RBF Consulting are among the "who's who" of supporters that comprise a list of over 25,000 volunteers and donors that contribute to HomeAid Orange County, the Building Industry Association's charitable outreach charged with the mission of building and renovating shelters for the county's homeless.

At a recent RBF Consulting (RBF) stockholders meeting held at Fashion Island, a group of spouses -after reading about HomeAid - in an effort to raise funds for the organization - decided to 'build-a-bear" and offer it as a special entry for a charity auction slated as part of the company dinner later that evening.

That gesture - made on a whim - was a huge success resulting in auction proceeds of $5000, an amount ultimately matched by the company and gifted to HomeAid.
