HomeAid Orange County, charged with the mission of building and renovating shelters for Orange County's homeless, is pleased to announce the successful recruitment of William D. "Bill" Balfour III to its Board of Directors. Balfour is senior vice president and market manager for Bank of America Southern California Metro Home Builder Division.

HomeAid Orange County, charged with the mission of building and renovating shelters for Orange County's homeless, is pleased to announce the successful recruitment of William D. "Bill" Balfour III to its Board of Directors.
Balfour is senior vice president and market manager for Bank of America Southern California Metro Home Builder Division. He is responsible for creating a variety of financial solutions and providing integrated banking products to professional homebuilders and subdivision developers in the Southern California region, which includes Orange, Los Angeles, and Ventura counties, as well as the Inland Empire, the Central Coast, and Hawaii.
Balfour leads a team of fifteen real estate professionals who service clients ranging from smaller builders to among the regions' largest, originating over $800 million in financing solutions in 2004 to this important economic sector.
In addition to his service as a HomeAid Orange County board member, Balfour is on the board of the Orange County United Way. He also serves on the United Way cabinet of the Alexis de Tocqueville Society and was past co-chair of Real Estate & Building Industry Luncheon. He was a board member of the Eastern Division Board of the Home Builders Association of Northern California and HomeAid Northern California.
Balfour received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California in May 1983. He resides in Newport Beach with his wife Tara and two children.
