HomeAid Orange County recently welcomed Dana Capital Group to the HomeAid President's Circle of Donors with a donation of $15,000.
"Dana Capital is a prominent member of the Orange County's business community and we greatly welcome their donation and involvement with our organization," said Michelle Pate, HomeAid Orange County board member, who went on to say that their contribution will assist the HomeAid mission of building and renovating shelters for homeless Orange County residents.
"We wanted to share our sales success with an organization that does so much for people in need," said Dana Smith, the Founder and President of Dana Capital Group. "Although we are based in a county of great affluence, we always need to remember that there are 35,000 homeless people in Orange County and it is everyone's responsibility to find ways to help them and reach out to them," added Smith.
HomeAid Orange County was founded by the Building Industry Association in 1989 and since its inception has completed 37 shelter developments.
