Richard Hunsaker joins HomeAid Orange

Richard Hunsaker of Irvine-based Hunsaker & Associates has been named to the HomeAid Orange County Board of Directors. HomeAid, serving temporarily homeless individuals and families is the charitable outreach of the Orange County Chapter of the Building Industry Association of Southern California.

HomeAid Orange County, the charitable outreach for the Building Industry Association of Southern California charged with the mission of building and renovating shelters for the temporarily homeless, announces the addition of new board member, Richard Hunsaker of Irvine-based Hunsaker & Associates, a full-service engineering, planning and surveying firm.
Hunsaker's offices in San Diego, Riverside/San Bernardino and Los Angeles/Ventura, employs more than 200 people and is responsible for Master Planned Communities and other significant projects including; Dove Canyon, Tustin Ranch, Crystal Cove, Knott's Berry Farm, Ladera Ranch, Pelican Hill, Ritz Carlton, and the St. Regis Hotel, to name only a few.
Hunsaker is involved in various charitable organizations (Prentice School, Olive Crest, and Boys Scouts of America, among others) and provides sponsorships for little league teams and other childrens' sports organizations throughout Orange County. A graduate of USC, Hunsaker is active in Associate's Support Group for USC's School of Engineering and was named Engineer of the Year for Land Development in 1998. A board member of the Building Industry's Association Board of Directors for the past 25 years, Hunsaker was honored with the Tribute to Excellence in 2001.
HomeAid Orange County, established in 1989 by the Building Industry Association of Southern California, has completed 34 shelter developments throughout Orange County, and has six projects currently under construction or in the planning stage.
