CALL FOR HOMEAID ORANGE COUNTY
PROJECT PLAYHOUSE BUILDERS

IRVINE, CALIF (March 8, 2006) HomeAid a non-profit organization that builds and renovates temporary residences for thousands of Southern California homeless families is actively seeking playhouse builders for its 15th annual Project Playhouse fundraiser. Project Playhouse 2006, to be held from September 9 through October 14 at Fashion Island in Newport Beach, is expected to draw over three million visitors throughout the duration of the 8-week event.

Participating builders can expect to receive extensive media coverage; prominent signage; event advertising; prestigious award opportunities; a special VIP party honoring contributors; and the definitive benefit for all involved…the knowledge that their involvement will help raise funds to build shelters that will ultimately house the disadvantaged.

Established by the leadership of the Orange County Chapter of the Building Industry Association of Southern California in 1989, HomeAid Orange County has completed 38 shelter projects. The temporarily homeless served by HomeAid include women in crisis pregnancy; women and their children who are domestic violence victims; the mentally challenged; adults living with HIV/AIDS; homeless youths; and those who find themselves homeless as a result of job loss or catastrophic illness. There are over 35,000 men, women and children in Orange County who do not have a permanent nighttime address, HomeAid is dedicated to helping these homeless families and individuals get back on their feet by providing temporary housing. HomeAid's Project Playhouse event garners an essential part of the funds needed to support the shelter projects currently slated for construction.

To request entry forms, guidelines and participation details, interested builders, companies and individuals can contact HomeAid Orange County at (949) 553-9510 or visit the website at www.projectplayhouse.org. HomeAid will accept the first 12 confirmed applicants. Entry forms must be received by March 17, 2006.
