To date, HomeAid has completed 40 shelters with three others in various stages of planning and construction.

WHAT:
“LimeLight”, formerly the Rainbow of Hope Ball, recognition gala will once again honor outstanding individuals and companies that have given unselfishly to aid the homeless HomeAid serves. Please be a part of this spectacular evening as a sponsor or underwriter.  Monies raised from the LimeLight will provide shelter for our homeless neighbors now living in seedy motels or on Orange County’s streets.

Dear Friend:

HomeAid Orange County is pleased to announce this year’s LimeLight will be held at the beautiful Mission San Juan Capistrano on Saturday, May 31st.  This annual recognition gala honors outstanding individuals and companies that have given unselfishly to the homeless in our community and marks the commencement of our 20th anniversary celebration.

We are inviting you, your friends and family to be a part of this spectacular evening as a sponsor,   underwriter or guest.  Revenue raised at LimeLight helps further the HomeAid mission of building dignified housing where homeless families and individuals can rebuild their lives.

This year we are proud to give the 2008 Rainbow of Hope Awards to Dwight and Leia Smith of Catholic Worker, CALPASC and the other team members who generously and with great care renovated Isaiah House, Bank of America and their team members for being an outstanding corporate partner. We will also be honoring our friend, Ron Saienni, who was a true champion for the homeless and is missed by all of us.

Our guests will enjoy a fabulous evening on the historic grounds of the Mission San Juan Capistrano with fine dining, flamenco dancers and great auction items - all in a glorious setting that radiates the true sense of selflessness of our 2008 honorees.  You’ll find a complete listing of these great companies and individuals enclosed.

Please consider joining us for this evening of grace under the stars and help support HomeAid Orange County as they begin to celebrate our 20 years of sheltering homeless men, women and children in our community.  Thank you for considering being part of this unique and exciting night that contributes so much to help those in need.
